Fish head soup with milk $5. #01-183The Batam fish tasted average. I couldn't taste the sweetness of the fish but instead, the sweetness of the sugar. Overall this was an average tasting meal and the soup was too sweet (which I found it unusual as usually fish soup has a light-tasting flavour).

FoodIt has been raining daily ever since the first day of Chinese New Year. As for rainy seasons or day, I will like to keep my body warm by taking in some soupy meals. This is how I had decided Soon Fish Soup for my meal.I have ordered Fish Soup Mee Sua with bittergourd at $3.50 each. As this is not the first time I have patronised this stall, I'm kind of suprised that the amount of slice fish I had today. Normally when I finished my slice fishes, I will still have alot of mee sua left but today, its the other way round. Like most of the fish soup stall, what we have in the bowl will be the noodle, sliced fish and some vegetables and fried onions oil (to one liking).Bittergourd and Sliced fish. The sliced fish is smooth and tender, well processed. It gets torn apart without much biting and glides down the throat in a slippery manner. Uncle has somehow over looked his cooking today. My mee sua was all bundled up. Maybe, I'm lucky to have his one in a million bowl. ServiceThere is a new helper at the stall today which makes us confused. When we ordered, she mentioned that there is no bittergourd left yet we saw its in our bowl. Service is generally ok.AmbienceTogether with the pitter patter sound of the rain, it makes the hawker center nosier. And during rainy days, the floor is always full of water brought in by us.
