I liek this place because they have unique products that are different to Breadtalk and all other bakeries which try to copy Breadtalk. Had this chocolate dipped croissant, but have to say we're quite disappointed. It doesn't look very good, and it didn't taste as good as Breadtalk's croissant either. They have a deal for 5 buns for only $2.95! I like their tuna buns and for the Chinese New Year, they have a fish shaped croissant with a pineapple topping.

Although the bread sold at St Leaven is very similar to those sold by four leaves bakery, i had tried several types of bread and the one by St Leaven taste nicer. I favorite bun is the curry doughnut bun and the tuna bun. The curry filling in the curry doughnut bun is very fragrant and the bun is very soft. The tuna bun also taste good as there is a lot of tuna filling in the bun.

I was surprised to see St Leaven actually having dorayaki. Maybe it is because I have not been to St Leaven for quite some time now. I decided to get it to try since I have not had it since my secondary school days where I used to buy it during recess time. I love the peanut filling - it is crunchy and maybe a little too sweet, but still very yummy when eaten together with the outer pancake since the outer pancake is more towards the bland side, having just being lightly sweetened. Now I will kn

Fried Curry Donut bun is my usual favorite and it has been so for quite a long while now. I did not have a satisfying lunch earlier and i need something extra pretty badly before proceeding to Cineleisure Orchard for the special screening of 'The Muppets' on a Sunday afternoon. This was one of the better fried Curry Donut buns that i ever tasted. It was nicely fried and drained so it did not have any rancid taste. The filling of curry potato was of a reasonable amount and it tasted good. If you

t's a takeaway so nothing to say about the setting. Can get very busy throughout the day as waves of people come and go with no fixed timing. I've been there countless times and besides the lunch hour rush, there seems to be other random hour rushes.

The staff are harried and obviously being harassed by their manager or supervisor, so they all try to hurry along and stuff your bread roughly and hastily into a bag and hold out their hand waiting for you to pay them. And then they grab your money and dump you the change and move on to the person behind you, without much to say to you. BreadTalk is also the same. Did everyone attend the same bakery service training? Once again, gruffness and lack of words is typical of Singapore "service" standards.

It's quite competitively priced as there's Crystal Jade Bakery just opposite and another bakery next to it. The bakery next to it is much more expensive with less variety and therefore hardly has any customers ever. But you get what you pay for. While it's relatively cheap, the taste and quality are rather low.

The breads are not as soft or are too soft. The buns are either too dry or the fillings make them too soggy. The "Belgium waffles" tasted like cardboard.

Had a thing called "Milk Bread/Toast". It was not toasted at all, and it's basically a very thick slice of white bread drenched in melted margarine and firmed up again, and also drenched in sugar. When you bite into one, your entire mouth, lips, face, get all oily and sticky form the sugar. It would have been better if it was pure creamery butter used instead of margarine! It was really rich and rather sickening by the end of it. Like eating a big piece of margarine covered in sugar.

Had a wholewheat tuna bun which had TOO MUCH onions so that the rest of the day I had onion breath. It's ok if you're on an onion diet and need lots of onions in your diet, but for normal folks, it's overpowering. Tasty but overpowering.

Tried most of the rest of the shop since we go there often and it's so convenient and it's really a "fast food". Nothing outstanding or memorable. Nothing worth getting twice. But it's good as a "fast food". you get so much variety and choice.

Recommended for the reasonable prices and some of the better choices available.

I was visiting the mooncake fair and decided to get a bread from this bakery for my night snack, since I had a very early dinner. I chose this pizza bread with the green capsium and hot dog. There is a generous amount of cheese on top of the bread, and the bread flour has some black sesame seeds on it, such that you can see the sesame seeds within the bread itself. Overall, the bread is quite tasty and best consumed on the day of purchase since the cheese may go stale if left overnight.

I love the smell of bakery especially when the aroma of fresh baked bread comes out from the oven and I find myself wandering around the display shelves to search for some interesting bread and prefer those with fillings. So I ended up with 3 mini breads, 2 of the tuna and 1 with pepper egg. Tuna one is nice with a little baked mayo on top of the bread wherelse the egg one is ok only, but the bread texture is really soft and nice.

I love their sandwiches. They are healthy and delicious! Keep refrigerated and bring it for work as your breakfast the next day morning. Very convenient! It taste fabulous when it's cold. This bun is small and a little reddish. I guess they added tomato or somthing together with mayonaise, lettuce and a slice of ham. Simple yet yummy!

Recommended for the reasonable prices and some of the better choices available compared to Crystal Jade My Bread or the store next door. Really do NOT like the oily trays and tongs!!
