Have you ever tried before Pandan Soya Cake Do try it and purchase from an outlet of Swee Heng Bakery. The Pandan Soya cake costs $4.00. There were total three layers shown in the pictures with Green (Pandan flavoured), White (Soya) and Brown (the bottom part). This Pandan Soya Cake was fragrant and sponggy. It was light and the taste was great different from those normal Pandan Cake sells in any bakery shop. Do try it, and you will never regret

There are a lot of bakeries in yew tee. So if you love bread like I do, you will have a time of your life trying out all the different breads from the different bakeries. For this bakery, I like the coffee bun most. The coffee butter on the bun is very buttery, and a nice coffee aroma, and is crispy, especially when it just came out of the oven. The crispiness of the coffee butter gave a nice contrast against the softness of the buttery bun. You may start to think that the whole bread is butter, but rest assured that the butter is not overpowering. It may be slightly oily, as which all butters, but worth the calories.

When I keep the bread for the next day, the coffee butter will lose its crispiness. So I will heat it up in the oven for 5 minutes, and it taste as fresh as yesterday.

I was around Yew Tee one evening and decided to grab a bread to eat as I was feeling a little hungry. The smell from the bakery made me even hungrier. Quickly, I picked a tuna bun and a mushroom bun. The tuna bun was soft and not too sticky. The tuna fillings were also generous and there was a bit of seaweed at the top of the bun. As for the mushroom bun, the mix of mushrooms and mayo was just nice. Not too soggy or wet. Quite nice.
