We had pita sandwiches, Rachel had Minchi Sandwich (Minced Pork) while Jasmine and I tried the Teriyaki Chicken. I also ordered the Salmon Onigiri just in case I'd get hungry.

The food didnt disappoint us - fresh ingredients, great service, quiet setting, healthy and the portion is just nice for us or rather lunch! The price is the most attractive, at S$3.50 onwards for the Pita Sandwiches and S$1.90 for a big Salmon Onigiri, we truly had a happy lunch ;) A tad pity we didnt take any pictures as we were too hungry, next time! We foresee Tampopo Deli to be a regular haunt for lunches now.

2 mini tarts – Fruits and Mont Blanc ($2/ea)

Fruit Tart

Tart filled with light custard cream and topped with cubes with strawberry, peach, grape and kiwi. I think the wining factor lies in the light custard cream.

Mont Blanc

The chestnut cream was particularly good and not too sweet. When I forced my fork into the center, I bite into A chestnut coated with chcolate… a surprise??? The tart base was not too soggy but I wished it was much crunchy.

I would definitely head back for more desserts! Check out the monthly specials.
