Met up with my friend on sat and decided to head down to Thai express @ yishun outlet for dinner. The queue was long despite its already over dinner time. It took about 30mins before we get our seats and ordered our once we got our seats so that we dont have to wait too long for our food. The service was not really very good, because no one helped us to top up our drinks when there are crowds. My friend wanted to eat the lunch set there. Without GST and Svc charge it's around $8.90 per set.However me and my friend would definitely not try this again.The honey chicken set comes with a plate of rice and honey chcken, two watermelon sticks and 2 fish stcks.The fish sticks is nice and the watermelon coated with brown sugar is nice too.What's not nice is the honey chicken rice.As shown in the picture, so much rice and so pathetically few pieces of chicken.Both of us did not finish the rice

It was time for lunch and i had a strong craving for thai food, so my friend and i ended up at the thai express outlet at northpoint!I ordered one of my favourites, the thai green curry with chicken chunks, and it came with a small portion of steamed rice and some pickled cucumbers and carrots!The green curry was not overly spicy, but it did give my taste buds a kick! I love how they were very generous with their chicken chunks!Service here was not so good though, as we had to walk into the shop

I didn't have an idea of what to order so my friend just ordered the pineapple seafood fried rice for the both of us. It smells quite nice and luckily, the taste did not disappoint. The rice is not too over oily and it is not clumpy so it is good. I like the pineapples as it inject a fresh and interesting flavour to the rice. The prawns are also very fresh and sweet tasting. There is really nothing to fault about this dish at all, and I enjoyed it a lot.

Wondering why is thai express named it thai express Perhaps it got to do with the serving pace that is always fast and organized which helps to shorten the queue outside. As a thai express member, i was given birthday voucher of $15 to dine at thai express. Thus, i went there with my friend and i ordered the seafood rice. It came with the unique sauce by them which i feel that it tasted quite normal, as in the taste is not enough to trickle the saliva out of the mouth. haha. portion is alright.

we had lunch at thai express..not too sure what to order that day.. hence i tried their Tom Yam Seafood Hor Funthat looks like normal hor fun to me.. but there were quite an amount of ingredients..and this was the first time i had such thing..i also ordered Tub Tim Krob.. which is the red ruby .. crunchy.. and the coconut milk taste really fresh and nice..

Tom Yum Spicy MeeThe Chinese vermicelli tasted nice with tomyum soup as it absords the tasty soup. Quite a lot of stuff inside, and there is an egg beaten into it. Spiciness: 2/5 but my friend cannot stand it already XDTomyum soup rice setThis is the value set, with tomyum soup, rice, fish cake, and a dessert. the rice is fragrant, and everything was okay.Normal.

The tofu squares is crispy on the outer and soft in the inner. It tastes fantastic and one of must-try side dishes. The Tom Yam Glass noodles with sliced fish is not bad bad too as it is clear type tom yam soup. The portion is quite big with many sliced fish too.
