The Canteen located on the first floor of Shaw Centre is a small humble restaurant that serves a mix of Asian and Western food. I have the Laksa which was indeed delectable. The used of fresh ingredients and the smooth but not too spicy gravy went well with the rice noodles.

I went there to find my friend for lunch as she is working around hereI ordered their mee cai mak It's really simple , a clear broth with minced pork, meat balls & a poached egg, but somehow it just hits the spot.Prices are very reasonable & the decoration of this store is simple & clean Overall i rate 8/10
