Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is not only famous for their coffee but also for their cakes. We ordered the red velvet cake and the tiramisu cake. The ambiance of the place was quiet and relaxing, thus it is a good place to be if you want to sit down and have your tea break or read a book. The texture of the cakes were soft and spongy which gave a pleasant mouthfeel, the place also have a wide selection of coffee and tea to go with your cafe. After our far from satisfying breakfast at Subway, we headed over to CBTL located just a few steps away. We've always loved their Raspberry Chocolate Cake ($5.80) as the cheese is exceptionally smooth and creamy, yet not overpowering. The zesty layer of raspberry cream cheese was simply divine! And to top it off, the white chocolate flakes sprinkled with cinnamon powder was heavenly. And to complement the cake, we had their Anniversary Blend Tea Latte ($5.80) which was an amalgamation of exotic and surreal flavours comprising of 4 teas: white, green, oolong and black infused with acia berry flavoring.

The 1st frozen yogurt from Coffee Bean I had was from the Sentosa outlet last year and I wasn't ready for frozen yoghurt then. Since I have been liking frozen yoghurt, in a warm afternoon after my lunch, I was surprised and so happy to see the frozen yoghurt in the menu list of the Coffee Bean outlet at Rail mall! I ordered the tart with granola topping. I was told that the tart has the sour taste, whereas the vanilla will be more of the sweeter version. I'm not sure of how the vanilla one tast

I'm not sure of how the vanilla one taste though.

I am very satisfied with the one that I ordered. I love the creamy texture, and it has an unique creamy and milky aftertaste which I now proclaim it as my favorite frozen yoghurt. It was so good that I travel all the way from Hougang to Rail Mall the next day to have it again!

Was having a simple simple at coffee bean while waiting for a co-worker, order a spaghetti with tomato sauce with lots of parmesan cheese! And every pasta from coffee bean also come with a crunchy breadstick! Its quite an unique combination actually! Well, their pasta is quite a decent one, not exceptionally good but not that bad either.
