The New World, an alternative dinning place that is situated in NTU North Spine, offers a wide range of Malaysian delights. After hesitating for quite some time, I decided to try out this Kong Bao Chicken. You can ask for an extra bowl of rice to go with it at only $0.50, or you can just savour it without any rice. Overall, its a thumbs-up!

I went back to school during school holiday to print settle some stuff. Hence, i decide to dine there too. I choose to eat dumpling that come with free tea egg and porridge. Well, this isn't the best I had ever eaten but it wasn't the worse. I like the tea egg but the porridge taste weird. It is bland but they added bean in it which make terrible. The dumpling is slightly salty and hence, you will need to eat with the porridge. It costs me $4.50 in total and there are a lot of choices for their

The new world cafe make up of a few stall in it. I didn't really like to come to this cafe during lunch cause it is too crowded and hard to find a seat. But we decided to try out one day after lunch crowd so I try their sesame oil chicken while my friend try another of their dish. From the pictures it looks the same, but is actually 2 different dishes. I like the sauce; and the way they cooked it. The chicken was so nice and tender. I find that the portion is too small for me. The lady scooped up too much shrimp along with the soup and thus it doesn't look appetitizing and had too much of that shrimp-y taste. it was moderately spicy to me and I like it. I still prefer the laksa that was sold at the old stall. A pity it had closed down. This laksa is enough to satisfy my cravings though. I'll be back for more.

I am in love with the fried prawn noodles here! The stall is located near the entrance. It doesn't really taste like the usual hokkien mee as the gravy is more watery and more bland. It is to my liking and tastes especially good when I add in lots of squeezed lime. The shrimps are rather small but fresh. The sambal chilli is not spicy so you can put more than what you usually put.
