So after the renovation at Food Republic I decided to come back and try out their new stores. Actually it didn't change much. This time I decided to try green curry from the Thai store. Well the queuing was VERY messy. The cashier doesn't know which customer come first. I had to wait for quite a long time. They even missed out my bowl of rice But then Finally I had my order and start my meal. It was very nice. Well it was $8 for a set so how can it be not nice. Overall I had my tummy filled and

Went for tea at Wisma food republic. did not want to have a heavy meal so chose to order roti prata instead. I thought it would be a very sinful meal to have such an oily dough but it turns out the prata is not oily at all and the serving is really good. The prata is really not expensive at all judging that it is from the food court. It cost me $1.80 for the egg prata. I love to have my prata with sugar. They are a perfect match. if you are a prata person, please try "What you do prata" at wisma

What You Do Prata is a very nice prata place! The pratas were really GREAT! They are very well cooked, thick, fluffy and absolutely yummy! It was not oily at all. The curry was EXCELLENT! They also serve a generous portion of curry! Very yummy. However, the prices are abit steep. Kind of too steep for pratas.

I got myself an egg prata for lunch. One prata is usually filling enough for me. I also asked for extra fish curry as it goes perfectly well with egg pratas for me. I was glad that my prata was cooked with less oil as requested. Service can be improved though.

Love the prata here becasue it is SO BIG and SO good! They must use real ghee because we don't feel sick after eating prata. Usually if they use margarine, we feel sick after eating it. The curry is aso very good. Curry is so important in prata because it brings out the prata flavour. The curry here has no weird taste and is not over spicy. Very well-balanced, very fresh! We only come here for the prata because it is convenient and so good.

The prata in plain and egg, are done just right. Fluffy and crispy and flavourful. The cream cheese prata is also to die for! Definitely recommended place for prata! So far we haven't had better prata in Singapore!

It's not oily and it's a very generous portion. It's fresh and it's made to order, not just sitting there! Very clean place. Just be prepared to pay a shocking price for prata.

There's much service since it is always packed and busy when we are there in the weekend, and it's a food court type setting.

I arrived at the stall where my friend wanted the chicken murtabak. But alas, chicken was gone, so well, "Do you mutton murtabak" and we ordered. It was about 9pm, half to closing time because it was weekday, so my cheeky attitude came out, " hey ,why don't you give me a discount? you didn't have chicken you know we wanted that. and it's close to closing time so we're like your last customers!" The cashierer replied me back in a cheeky way too but hey, who was he kidding me, I outwitted him (of c

Who knew that you can do that in a foodcourt stall?

Like to point out that their service was truly friendly and I was engaging a convo with the Indo or Malay chef, and he was really nice as well. I was asking like, "hey, could i have a pack of the indian keropok?" and he headed up his other colleague to give one to me. So nice!

For all the $4.50 with the thick murtabak and great service, it was worth it in the nice Wisma overlooking Orchard. (originally for murtabak it's $5)

Tip though, as I saw him cooking that he dipped his cooking utensil to the oil and was spreading, maybe to let him know to lessen the oil next time.

Place was clean and well, I'm sure he didn't cut off any mutton portion so it was really thick and dense in the murtabak - two slices of them is a big case for me. Had to tapao!
