Wild Honey has a rather cozy and homey feel to it, like a warm brick home. Interestingly, the waitresses are all dressed in a uniform that vaguely calls to mind milkmaids or farmhands. It was rather packed and we had to wait for about 20 mins even though we came only 1 hour after it opened. But despite the number of people, it wasn’t too noisy unlike other places where you cannot even hear your friends talk.

My friend and I ordered the European breakfast, which consisted of eggs benedict, mushrooms and prosciutto. This was one of the best egg benedicts I have eaten so far!
Look at that delicious egg oozing out, flowing almost like a waterfall over the prosciutto, which added its salty flavour to the eggs. There was also some herb-grilled mushrooms adding complexity to the dish and this was all put on top of a thick slice of soft garlic bread. The combination is just heavenly and I really finished off the 2 pieces of eggs benedict way too fast!

The other friend had the Japanese breakfast which consists of salmon omelette balls, Japanese rice, and salad with wasabi mayo. I didn’t get a chance to try it but my friend was making sounds of joy so I assume it was pretty good as well!

The breakfasts at Wild Honey are exceptional and I really wish I could have had seconds, but at least now I have an excuse to come back again for more!
