You may feel a little disoriented after u stepped into this place because their menu are written on chalkboards on the wall so u do not have the luxury to take your time to choose your food. Unfortunately i went there on a full stomach so i wasnt able to try all the super yummy food. But of course i needed to try something! I had the macadamia banana bread which was alright. Had the cappuccino which was also so-so only. One of my friends ordered the canadian pancake which was a stack of 3 fluffy pancakes (good enough to share) with bacon on the side. The other one ordered a salmon which looked so-so only too. I would say we probably didnt order the famous stuff but I think price is abit on the expensive side for the value of the food but i think that was made up for by the portion.

Will definitely be back to try the other food!

This meal was something different because i had this for dinner. overall the taste was ok but not fantastic because how special can one make bread egg taste unique. although i have to say it was a good experience because the setting of the place was really cosy. it would be good to visit the place if you are looking for a nice ambiance rather than for good food.

When i heard from my friend about wild honey serving all day dining breakfast menu, i was thinking to myself will the food be appropriate to be eaten as dinner. I decided to join my friend and to taste their food. They do have a selections of breakfast to choose from their menu, and after trying once, i really love the breakfast at there. Not only it can be eaten as breakfast, but also lunch, and dinner! The price can be quite expensive though.

After a long wait for H&M launch of Versace X H&M, decided to walk across the street to Mandarin Gallery and have a hearty breakfast at Wild Honey.

went in at around 11am, the restaurant was almost fully occupied.

Canadian Breakfast set - comes with 3 fluffy/thick pancake with slices of bacon and comes with maple sauce and berries jams, 3 pieces of pancake is a little bit too much to finish by one person. personally find it expensive to pay for this dish as i overall find it so so though.

English Breakfast set - 2 piece of toast bread with sausage, scramble eggs, big beans, tomatoes, sauteed mushroom, slice bacon and stir-fried potatoes cubes. for the amount i paid, i think this is way more worth it than the Canadian Breakfast Set.

it is a very cosy restaurant... low dim light. like the concept of using homely furniture although this might take up more space and in so there are limited seats..

If you haven’t heard of Wild Honey @ Mandarin Gallery by now, well, mhmm, at least you do now! Hah. Famous for its all day breakfast concept, I gave it a try quite some time ago, and then again recently (just because their menu is so intriguing).

Even on a Monday brunch, it is packed. Well also because they are a small outlet, but still. Their furnishing is kind of the air-conditioned ‘Riders Cafe’ style – a part with cushions and sofa; some with ordinary tables and chairs; a corner with a straight row of high stool and bar-table – each with a different reason for choice. Be warned though, if you are going on a weekend, be prepared to be put on the wait list. I waited for half an hour the other time. Thankfully, it isn’t those that you need to stand, in line. You can walk around and take in the Mandarin Gallery atmosphere while waiting for the call from them.

When settled at a table, the cup of cubed sugar caught my attention. It can be found in certain places, but under the dim lighting, cozy and comfy ambience, this piece of art just brings creativity to another level. You just feel so comfortable inside, like everything’s well in place.

Chocolate Muffin :: Very carefully prepared, the muffin actually looks better than it tastes. It isn’t -that- bad, but at that point of time when we were already starving while waiting for some late comers to arrive, it sufficed. It’s nothing to rave about, very ordinary, muffin.

European Breakfast ($18.90++) :: Now this is something to rave about. When they say it’s ‘perfectly poached eggs’, they mean it. Their version of Eggs Benedict, is, the best I’ve had in my life. Wrapped around the eggs are some well-done, spot-on, bull’s eyes bacon – it’s the kind of bacon one can find in Australia – nowhere have I ever tasted such ‘medium rare’ bacon. Very usually, bacon in Singapore are crispy / hard. The cheese, ahhh. Sandwiched between the thick brioche and bacon&egg is the sauteed mushrooms. I think it provides the right twist in the whole sweetness of the meal. Excellent dish, all in all. A must try.

Tunisian Breakfast :: Very simply put, it is a sizzling pan of, tomato concise. The description actually sounds really mouth-watering, but well, like we know, it’s after all, a description, written by a brilliant guy. If you’re a tomato lover, don’t mind a couple of eggs, some cheese, sausages, topped with onion and red pepper, then maybe this breakfast set is for you. Otherwise, avoid this at all cost, like what my friend and I have intended to. We agreed that the European Breakfast is way better.

English Breakfast :: The typical, classic English breakfast. Literally. Bacon here isn’t done like those in European Breakfast, it’s harder / crispier. It’s just another English breakfast for me. I thought the portion was huge enough, so I’m not complaining much.

The recent trip there was very pleasant. It was on a rainy and dull day – just the time to give Wild Honey a visit. Dimly-lit restaurant, comfortable, warm and homely feel, we chilled at the restaurant for quite some time, it felt good. Service is professional. If you have time, just pop by for an all-day non-stop breakfast, and maybe a piping hot tea.

—> Note #1: They adopt the order-at-the-counter-and-pay-instantly system. So don’t wave to the waitperson to take your order. Hah.

—> Note #2: If you’re ordering any of the pastries just in front of the counter, just order it at the counter, you do not have to take / ask for a plate to take the cake / muffin / pie yourself. It’ll be served to you.

—> Note #3: It’s not really a place for large group of people. Maximum you’d wanna have there is probably 8.

I had European breakfast. The best ever! Eggs Benedict! Two perfectly poached eggs, sauteed mushrooms and prosciutto on toasted homemade brioche. It's a little dry but the egg yolk does the job! The bacon is soft and a tad too salty but on the whole, it tasted fabulous!

We love the laid back and cool decoration of Wild Honey. Menu is only available at the counter on the chalkboards and on an iPad at the counter. It's better to decide on your food by viewing the menu online and order when you reached. Baby spinach leaves with roasted pumpkin and sweet potato, sunflower seeds, chickpeas and honey mustard dressing

Our favourite dish of the day! Portion was sufficient for two to share, fresh ingredients and the roasted sweet potato rock! We were surprised that chilled roasted pumpkin and sweet potato tasted good ;) It tasted firmer and sweeter ;) The dressing made a difference in enabling the salad to stand out.

Scrambled eggs with caramelised onions and imported smoke sturgeon, served with a toasted sesame bagel with Wild Honey's own creation of cream cheese

We were disappointed with this dish
The scrambled eggs with smoke sturgeon had a mild stinky smell which reminded us of pork that's not fresh. We couldn't finished the scrambled eggs due to the stink.

On a better note, the bagel with cream cheese was good!

The classic full breakfast; creamy scrambled eggs, pork sausage, sauteed mushrooms, dad's baked beans, bacon and vine ripened tomato with toasted brioche

This was much better! Oh well, it tasted slightly above average but not mind blowing ... As it's name goes, it's a classic breakfast with the classic taste that it ought to have and the portion is huge!

Same here, the bread - Brioche was fantastic ;) A bit of googling on Brioche: It is a French bread, characterized by a rich, sweet flavor and flaky texture which almost makes it feel like a pastry, rather than a bread.

Spending a total of S$72.97 is very expensive for a breakfast. We will have second thoughts for a return visit for breakfast. But we would love to buy the bread to make our own breakfast
Wild Honey has a small section for sale of bread, this would suffice for us to make our own breakfast and healthier for our small wallets.

My second visit and this time we waited for around an hour. They are always full and there's no reservations allowed except walk in ones. This time i had their English breakfast. I didn't really like the bean thingy and sausage. Bread was nice alongside with tomato and scramble egg. All in all, I find this dish a little dry and the portion is HUGE. My all time favourite is still the European breakfast.
