Frankly speaking, fish ball noodle had never been in my mind for any meals unless I run out of ideas of what to eat. After trying the noodles, I finally realize what his rave was all about through the whole of our dinner. Mee Kia used was different and whiter in color and did not have any scent of the "ki" and of course its noodle was "Q" and tasty especially with the old school kind of chilli used together with the used of vinegar. Not only that, these fresh balls were extremely soft and bouncy. I was told that they were freshly made by Yong Kee. If you asked if they were worth the while to queue, my reply is a definite yes to you.

ABC Brickworks Food Centre has a large carpark and many food stalls here to eat from. Most of the people that frequent here include office goers in the region and older heartland hawker centre crowd. It gets quite noisy here and dirty at times while the cleaners try to keep up with the crowd. We ordered a bowl of Fishball Noodles - $3. The Auntie was friendly and speed in delivery upon payment. The fish balls were nice and juicy, while the noodles were smooth in texture. The soup was quite light.

The standard drop after my last visit. Ordered the fishball kuey tiao soup and was surprised at 1) the portion 2) the blandness of the soup. The soup used to be tasty but now when I drink it, it feels like I was drinking plain water. The fishballs is not as fantastic too and it tasted average and normal. I thought it will maintain its standard from all the media coverage but sad to say... that's not the case. I hope the stall owner will do something about their quality of food...

The mee poh here is one of my favourite choice when I do not want to eat too much for my lunch. The mee poh is very chewy and not too soggy. The seasoning used to toss the mee poh is also not too plain nor overly oily, just the right taste and really delicious. The fish balls are also very smooth and chewy, which blend in well with the mee poh. The added fresh beansprouts and cabbages make this dish more delicious too.

Although there are many noodles stall at the ABC Brickworks Market/Food Centre, i wanted to see if the famous fishball noodles from Yong Kee Famous Fishball Noodles is really good. I order a bowl of dry mee poh. The mee poh was overcooked and was too soft. The rest of the ingredients like fishball and dumpling was only average. Not recommended.

I agreed with the other reviews about this stall. This is another stall with many media clippings but the actual thing did not meet the expected standard. It came with 4 fish balls and fish dumplings. The mee pok sticked together like a big ball when i wanted to mix them together. It did not have much taste other than a slight chilli taste. I will stay away next time.

It seemed to be another favorite stall in this food centre. It has quite a few media clippings displayed right at their stall. I was a little disappointed when i gotten my bowl of mee pok. They did not toss the mee pok when they served it. It was directly placed in the bowl after cooking it then added the fish balls, dumpling and slices of fish cake to it. The presentation was not an appealing one.

After tossed the mee pok with the sauce and gotten my first bite. It came another disappointment. The mee pok was a little too soft, it might be so due to overcooking. The fish ball, dumpling and fish cake tasted just average. That bowl of soup that served along tasted rather bland too. The chilli was a little different though, slightly spicier than usual but the spiciness is still acceptable even for those that not into spicy foods.

This is most likely another one time off experience.

Honestly, it's not fantastic! But this always happens right? You compare with the signboard and the food turned out looking not as good.First impression of food - So little ingredients. As expected, the taste did not impress me. However, the chilli was a little different from all the fishball noodles I've eaten thus far. I thought it was chilli padi but it wasn't so spicy. The fishballs were average since I've tasted better ones. Once again, I don't like this type of meepok - not "pok" enough.

For those who don't like vegetables/ spring onion specifically, you can probably go for this fishball noodles, cos' they put the spring onion bits onto your spoon instead of sprinkling it all over your noodles like other stalls.

Cost: $3.00

Will probably snoop around ABC Market next time round to try other noodle stalls.
