Contrary to other reviews about this stall, i think mine wasn't very nice. As much as I think this bowl of noodles is relatively cheap (S$2.50), I am going to say I will never visit this stall anymore. Part of the noodles are uncooked so you'll see fresh dough revealing. The tomyum soup was mediocre and there was no special thing about it. The vegetables taste raw and everything was real bad. I had reviewed on another handmade noodles stall, so you can check on my profile to view. That one is be

Nonetheless, I agree the auntie was very cheerful and chatty.

There was a long queue at this stall during week day lunch time, at least 15 people in the queue! Well, part of the reason why there is such a long queue is because there is only 1 person mending this stall. One aunty in fact. She takes the order, cook and collects the money. I wonder how she cope with preparation of ingredients and handle the whole stall herself. Her stall is one of the few in the food centre given a Grade A!Handmade noodles for $2.50. Handmade noodles for $2.50. Wow, this is the cheapest I have seen. This is even cheaper than Qiu Yun Ban Mian at Golden Mile Food Centre.

Despite the crowd, the aunty stilled chatted with customers as she was collecting the money. She informed me to leave the money on the table. Before I picked my tray up, I told her to keep the money. Her reply was 'do not worry about the money, your food is more important'. Wow, what a reply!

I upsized the Yu (You) Mian to $3.00. The hand made you mian was fragrant. However, some of the strands of noodles were lumped together. The broth was light, clear and flavourful. It came along with a small prawn, a slice of fish, pork meat, egg and leafy vegetable. I was most impress with the slice of fish as it was fresh, firm and sweet! A very decent and cheap bowl of home made noodle! Cheap and Good. I will not mind queuing for this again.

This stall happened to caught my eye the other time because of its pricing - only $2.50 for a bowl of tomyum ban mian, where it is at least $3.50 at most stalls that I have seen selling ban mian at other places. This is what prompted me to queue for it. The auntie is doing everything by herself, from cooking to taking of order and collecting of money. Even so, you do not have to wait too long for your bowl of noodles. This stall also sells normal ban mian. My friend ordered the normal one at $2.

Even so, you do not have to wait too long for your bowl of noodles. This stall also sells normal ban mian. My friend ordered the normal one at $2.80, while my tomyum noodles cost $2.50. The difference, as I have found out, is in the ingredients. My tomyum comes with a small prawn, two crabsticks and some leafy green vegetables and oyster mushrooms. In contrast, the normal ban mian comes with egg, meat and the leafy vegetables, which explains the difference in price. The tomyum is nice, but for me, I think the ingredients are too little - just two crabsticks and the prawn is really small. I think the normal one would be more worth it since you have an egg and meat.
