I tried a bowl of their special sauce noodle (zha jiang mian). For $3.50, it's reasonably priced. I like that they were generous with the amount of the meat sauce made with fermented soy bean paste. Generally, the taste was rather nice - tasty without being too sharp or salty in flavor. The texture of the handmade noodles were ok too. The minced meat used was mostly lean meat, which is commendable. This shows that they did not skimp on the quality of the pork (minced meat with more fat is usually cheaper). Besides noodles, they also have a lot of other Shanghai-influenced dishes.
