Humble noodles, Yee Mee was the modest creation which can be served simply in a broth. It was common to appear at any Zi Char stall in Singapore. Shared it with my boyfriend and it was more than enough.

Seafood hor fun in thick gravy and a generous load of ingredients on top really makes up a sumptous dinner! Love the seafood hor fun here at Ang Mo Kio and the smooth hor fun goes really well with the thick gravy and not forgetting the must haves green chilli. Prawns, fishcake, squid can be found in the hor fun and it really goes well with the noodles. Love the food here!

For today's lunch, we came to this Zi Char stall. Fried Meehoon was deceptively simple dish often found in neighbourhood coffee shops. Actually, frying Meehoon could be a challenging job at times. Some turned out to be too dry or too wet. However, this stall's Meehoon was perfectly balance. Maybe it was not so healthy, but certainly very hearty and satisfying. It costed $4.00 per plate, reasonable price.

I thought it was going to be expensive since beef in the market today is very expensive.

Anyway, the hor fun were extremely smooth and soft.
The gravy was not very starchy too. Total awesome!!
The sliced beefs tasted not bad.
The preserved green chillis which were sour did enhanced the taste of the whole packet of food!

Love buying food from this stall because the service was good, and the price is also very affordable!

The aunty was generous with her sliced fish too.Cai sim was given so this was a healthy and balanced meal. The mi fen was very good, soft and smooth.

The sliced fish were fresh and sweet. The aunty was generous with her sliced fish too.
Cai sim was given so this was a healthy and balanced meal.
The mi fen was very good, soft and smooth.
Gravy was not very thick and salty.
In conclusion, everything complemented well with each other.

Good service too. Will try other dishes next time!

I had Pork Ribs Fried Rice with egg for $4.70 at the industrial area in AMK the other day.The price was slightly expensive but its really delicious, as the pork ribs were cooked with sweet gravy and then drizzled over the fried rice. The sweet sauce goes really well with the fried rice and you simply can't stop eating.Despite the ribs being a little small, I still find it quite worth the price tag.The egg was a little not cooked (at the yolk part), I find it a little gross as I don't really like

I had Pork Ribs Fried Rice with egg for $4.70 at the industrial area in AMK the other day.
The price was slightly expensive but its really delicious, as the pork ribs were cooked with sweet gravy and then drizzled over the fried rice.
The sweet sauce goes really well with the fried rice and you simply can't stop eating.
Despite the ribs being a little small, I still find it quite worth the price tag.
The egg was a little not cooked (at the yolk part), I find it a little gross as I don't really like watery yolks.
Rice was well fried, not too oily and texture was good.

Waiting time might be slightly longer due to limited stalls serving 5 - 6 blocks of workers.

Went to this Zi Char stall around the industry area in AMK, and had a yummy Fried Beef Hor Fun for lunch! This is a very tasty beef hor fun with a hefty amount of beef slices. This box of hor fun only costs you $3.50 if you are having there, and extra 20 cents for taking away. The only problem is that it is quite oily which some health freaks might not be able to enjoy it.There was quite a lot of tao geh (beansprouts) too!The hor fun are very well fried with the beef, blending the beef taste along

The hor fun are very well fried with the beef, blending the beef taste along with the hor fun.

The only disadvantage is that the waiting time might be slightly longer every afternoon due to the limited amount of stalls serving around 5-6 blocks of workers.
