This is a little cafe inside Bedok Library. It mainly specialized in Ice Cream Dessert and has some main meal like Spaghetti with different toppings. Many students like to hang out there to study, and they do have some seats set aside for them to use. The rest of the sitting place is reserved for customer. The place is decked out in blue colour which gives a cosy and cool feeling. The place is decked out in blue colour which gives a cosy and cool feeling. It has simple chair and table with some soft seating around the perimeter of one corner of the cafe. In conjunction with our 46th National Day, they are serving Mushroom Spaghetti in red or white sauce a special price of $4.60.
My Red Sauce Mushroom Spaghetti came hot & smelling fragrant with dried herbs. The portion is decent for the price and has lots of slice button mushrooms and tomatoes gravy to coat the just right texture of the spaghetti. Suitable for Vegetarian. To end the meal, I tried their Apple Cinnamon Ice Cream at $3 a scoop. I was surprise that the texture is smooth, creamy with a slight chewy texture like eating bubble gum. You can smell the Cinnamon straight away as you take a spoonful of the ice cream. I do not see any pieces of apple, it could be blended with the ice cream. If you like the taste & smell of Cinnamon, than this may be just right up your alley.
They sell waffles with Ice Cream at $7.90, Mud pies at $10.90.
Overall this is a nice little air-con cafe to chill out but some of the Ice Cream dessert is pricey at $10.90 per head for student.
