I discovered another branch of lau phua chay roasted delights, just had it at clementi not too long ago, don’t know if they had the same history. I ordered their roasted duck and char siew rice. The portion was somewhat similar to that of the clementi one, very small portion. I had to order other food cos one plate is simply not enough. The duck was roasted perfectly, nice skin and tender duck meat. It was not too oily and the skin did not have too much fats in it. The char siew was sliced rathe

The portion was somewhat similar to that of the clementi one, very small portion. I had to order other food cos one plate is simply not enough. The duck was roasted perfectly, nice skin and tender duck meat. It was not too oily and the skin did not have too much fats in it. The char siew was sliced rather thinly, it was roasted very well, had my favourite charred bits. The char siew sauce they coated it with was very sweet and goes well with the sauce they poured on the rice. If only the portion could be bigger.
