The Breadtalk Group stepped in to revive this decades old traditional teochew bakery in December 2012 at Chinatown Point and Parkway Parade.There are many flavours to choose from like Traditional Sweet, Yuan Yang Sweet, Yuan Yang Savoury, Teochew Double Delight, Assorted Nuts Lotus, Melon Seeds Red Bean, Teochew Yam, Cranberry etc. There is an increase in prices as compared to before. It is now at $1.60 for a price or $10.80 for 8 pieces in a box.
My favourite has to be the Traditional Sweet that made of the mung paste filling enclosed in layers of flaky skin and topped with white sesame. A simple traditional taste to embrace. It is best to go with a cup of nicely brewed coffee.
