I thought of going TWG for tea since have always been thinking of going there to relax over a cup of tea and their dessert. Ended up at Marina Bay Sands (MBS) where we know there is TWG cafe over there and the environment is nice too. There are 2 different area of TWG in MBS (One like a bridge where boat seated with tourists row pass it while the other is at one of the corner of the river). We choose the one at the corner of the river one as there are not much people and seems relaxing place to be at.
The entrance of the cafe looks very cozy and grand (no wonder it is like higher class of tea drinking) with their staff waiting at the entrance to greet any customer who is coming for tea.

A look over their menu will actually surprised me as there are so many different types of tea to choose from over here and all of them looks so special. Their dessert range is also very nice (They provide main course too) which I would want to order one of each to try out if I have the stomach to eat it.

I ordered Earl Grey Pu-Erh (T3009) @ $11.00 from the Yunnan – Matured Tea range. The mixture of Earl Grey and Pu-Erh really taste like those chinese medicine which I do not really like it.

My friend ordered Kukicha (T806) @ $12.00 from the Japan Range. Quite a nice and refreshing one with a bit of mint aftertaste.

We also order their “Pastry of the Day” @ $9.50 which really wow my taste bud as it is really nice (warning as it is very sweet and should goes with bitter tea). This French confection is very creamy and nice but unable to eat it all alone as it will be too sweet to handle. Best to share between at least 2 person.

TWG Tea Macarons on the other hand is very good. (Great for those sweet tooth people) and I ordered 5 of them to share with my friend namely (@ $2.00 each):

- Camelot Tea & Praline
- Earl Grey Fortune & Chocolate
- Lemon Bush Tea
- Grand Wedding Tea, Passion Fruit & Coconut
- 1837 Black Tea & Blackcurrant

All of them taste sweet and nice to me but I would prefer the lemon Bush Tea more since it is a bit sour sweet type of dessert.

In the end, we ordered another tea called “Gnawa Tea” (T6022) @ $11.00 from the Exclusive Tea Blends range.

One important thing to note over here is that TWG do not provide refill of water for your tea and you can only fill up around 3 cups of tea (Estimation) and you might need to order another tea again. (I saw them sometimes pour out some ready made tea before serving to customers.)
