If you are wondering where to go for a Friday night dinner without queues and crowds for famous restaurants for good food, this is the place to go! Had a Set Dinner for 2 at $49.90 that came with a mushroom soup/caesar salad (one portion per individual), a pork knuckle or choose 2 selected main courses offered, dessert for 2 and a drink for each! The pork knuckle costs $38 a-la-carte price therefore decided to opt for the pork knuckle for the set meal. The pork knuckle costs $38 a-la-carte price therefore decided to opt for the pork knuckle for the set meal. Ordered additional steakhouse fries and a bottle of Beer.
When the pork knuckle came, which was quite a bit of a wait, the sight of it made it all worth it. It was huge, good enough to feed 3-4 people and it was for 2! Came with 2 sides of salad and garlic bread. The star of the show had a wonderful aroma, crispy skin and most of all the taste of it was fabulous. It was quite a feat to finish the entire thing but it was oh-so-good that made us continue even though we were full! Wash it all down with a pint of ice cold beer and you got the best dinner!
Wait a minute, the show is not over, here comes dessert which is 2 scoops of ice cream on top of a warm waffle. We took rum and raisin and chocolate. Excellent sweet end to a wonderful meal! Definitely going back there!
But the restaurant seating indoors is very limited especially if you are heading there with a big group of friends but they do have outdoor seating with a great ambiance too!
Pardon the poor quality of the photos which did no justice to the food!
