Although this is not my first time to Lailai, it is my first time trying their signature beef noodles. There is a choice of either soup version or dry version and I went for the dry version. The noodles took a while to be served even though there isn't much people in the restaurant.

Anyway, the noodles come with a thick gooey dark coloured sauce with beef chunks. The beef is tender and flavourful though the tendons made it quite difficult to bite. The noodles, as a result of the thick sauce, ended up being quite salty and strong flavoured. The noodles also do not really have a bite in them. It seems like it is overcooked. Overall, I think their beef noodles are not as nice as imagined.
