On a day to town, worn down by the scorching sun and dying for some meat, botak jones seems to be the obvious option.Ordered a Cajun Chicken and Cajun Chicken Burger. The price is commendable for being reasonable for such exciting portions. The price is commendable for being reasonable for such exciting portions. Poor ambience (duh, the place is comparable to sauna!), cold chicken, fries and corn. The initial bites creates the illusion of fulfilling but as the bites reaches the center, the chicken is cooked but definitely far from warm. The chicken is obviously thick and big but since it is cooked, and it is a breast, it will take the entire chicken quite awhile to cook thoroughly, meaning the exterior of the chicken should, at least, be warm. Perhaps the food could be warmed up a bit by putting on the grill for 30s.
On top of that, I would not be that sure that that is cajun. Cajun taste no way like that, unless the heat got into my palates. The corn taste buttery - just buttery. Could not finish the corn, it taste just too buttery.
Value for money and great service but chances are, I'd rather spend my meal in better eatery.
