When i first saw this stall, i was thinking that the kampong meant that the stall had been operating since a long long time ago, kampong days. So, naturally, i was very excited about the food. I had the white carrot cake, and it was a disappointment to me. The carrot cake itself is good, rich in flavor and smooth. But i cant say so for the fried carrot cake as a whole. One, there was simply not enough egg to cover the carrot cake. Or maybe, the carrot cake was cut into larger pieces and the egg
One, there was simply not enough egg to cover the carrot cake. Or maybe, the carrot cake was cut into larger pieces and the egg taste was too light. Two, the chili is not up to standard. Three, it was served on a Styrofoam plate. Despite putting banana leaf and spring onion, it is not appealing at all.
