I was around Outram area and decided to drop by Everton Park to check out some of the cafes. I pass by Grin Affair and took away two of their jar cakes! They have a range of flavours and I got two of their bestsellers, the Lychee Passion and Dark Chocolate! Between the 2 flavours, I prefer the dark chocolate as it is richer in taste compared to the lychee passion. This is my first time trying a jar cake, which I felt was too light for my tastebuds, probably because they use chiffon type of cake

Between the 2 flavours, I prefer the dark chocolate as it is richer in taste compared to the lychee passion. This is my first time trying a jar cake, which I felt was too light for my tastebuds, probably because they use chiffon type of cakes. Each jar cake is priced at the $5.50 to $7 range, which I personally feel is expensive considering the size and quality.
