It was a great and amazing session, we tried different types of premium Dilmah tea and also get to brew our own cup of Ceylon green tea and Earl grey tea. I personally preferred the Earl Grey one. I also learnt that we should just consume the first cup of freshly brewed tea for its maximum benefits rather than adding water to the cup of tea when it needs refilling! Who else is guilty for that? I am definitely one of those.
Being a tea lover, I thought I have been drinking TEA such as camomile tea, peppermint tea etc, but in actual fact, they are not even a type of tea (omg), they are known as infusions. Omg, I had no idea, but its not too late, because I know it now.

Another new fact: Do you know Oolong tea, white tea and black tea are all from the same plant?

I definitely didnt know this, I thought all teas are made from different species/types of plants which explains the differences in taste and colour. Actually it is the process that determines the taste and colour of the tea, one of their process is Fermentation.

This tea appreciation session by Dilmah's representative was indeed an eye-opening and informative one. I truly enjoyed this session. Thank you!
Also, we got to try Earle Swensen's Tea time Happiness set going at $6.90++, you get to have a cup of coffee or you pick your own Dlimah premium tea (6 flavours) and choose either a Chips & Slaw sandwich or a Neapolitan Layered icecream cake. We tried both and I would say to try the Chips & Slaw sandwich (there are REAL chips in it), my first time trying sandwiches with chips!
