I have tried xiao long bao from many Chinese restaurants in SG and I have concluded that Din Tai Fung serves the best xiao long bao. The thickness of the skin of the bao is just right - the soup in the bao will not flow out before you get to put in your mouth (unlike those which are made by those chefs who are not as skilled). This is perhaps the reason why Din Tai Fung is always very packed during lunch / dinner time, even at newly opened malls such as 112 Katong.
