Recently there is a newly opened cafe called The Coffee Academics, taking over the space formerly occupied by Arossa Wine & Grill. The Coffee Academics, origins from Hong Kong, is well known for its coffee. The cafe is quite big and zen in decoration, with japanese style square table with tatami mats around. There is 7 stations:1. Espresso Bar - Featuring our Spirit Triplette by Kees van der Westen2. Tea Academics Bar - Offering a curated tea menu using Steampunk or traditional brewing methods3.

Crab meat, sliced avocado mixed with seasonal green salad, topped with herring roe and signature TCA dressing.
The salad is nicely plated, but take care when eating the crab meat as there is small pieces of shell in the meat, which some got stuck between my teeth. I could not taste the dressing in the dish. The crab meat tastes quite fishy to me. But lucky there is buttery avocado to balance the taste.
one of the 3 special espresso based coffees available.
Cafe latte with Okinawa dark brown sugar.
Milky creamy drink with a hint of brown sugar at the top. It is not that exciting as expected.
Service is not bad. Prices included 10% service charge. Not crowded during weekday. Total bill was $32.45.
