I was surprised when the dish was served. It was not the cordon bleu or schnitzel cordon bleu, which is a dish of meat wrapped around cheese (or with cheese filling), then breaded and pan-fried or deep-fried. Instead it was served as deep fried chicken cutlet, topped with ham and melted cheese. It was also served with a garlic aioli sauce. The chicken cutlet was crispy except that it was a tab too dry. The garlic aioli sauce helped to moist it a bit. I like the stretch of the melted cheese. I had the dish served with mash potato and coleslaw.
Overall the food was not bad. The place was relatively quiet on a weekday night, with most customers having takeaway. Remember to help yourself to the iced water and condiments at the counter.
