Breadtalk still makes better bread... Tried their mooncake and its a total disappointment. Bought the mini mooncakes that cames in 4 flavours-tiramiu, espresso chestnut, traditional lotus and oriental pearl. The oriental pearl mooncake is made with lotus seed paste and dou sar. Filling is not smooth and overall texture is very hard. Too sweet to my liking too. The traditional lotus paste mooncake is less sweet, still acceptable but the other brands i tried are much better. Now comes the espresso

Filling is not smooth and overall texture is very hard. Too sweet to my liking too. The traditional lotus paste mooncake is less sweet, still acceptable but the other brands i tried are much better. Now comes the espresso chestnut mooncake, the plus plus plus! It taste much better than the rest in the box. I’m not a coffee lover, so i don’t know if the coffee is good but it is indeed a good mix of flavours. Lastly, the tiramisu mooncake... was expecting something more after the espresso chestnut mooncake. Well, disappointment again. It’s really bad. Having said this, their bread still deserves good ratings!
