This is one of my favorite spot for supper. I dont need to go all the way to Jalan Kayu for Prata. Here is good enough!Saffron is always busy on weeknights. Its hard to find a place to seat.. you can always see people standing around, lurking for places to seat.Luckily its was only the 3 of us, so it was slightly easier for us to settle down. Was hard to get the attention of the floor staff. They're so busy serving or clearing up dishes. Took a while before we could ordered. Saffron is well known

Here is good enough!

Saffron is always busy on weeknights.

Saffron is well known to the eastsiders for their Mee Goreng. I love to get Kway Teow and Bee Hoon mixed. It has enough char to give it an oopmh!! The redness makes it soo enticing! There's enough mutton and peas to satisfy me. And then i have the Iced Teh Tarik to accompany it along! Damn shiok i tell ya!

But what i didn't like was the mutton soup that my friend ordered for us to share. The gravy was too thick to my liking. the muttons were tender, but the taste was just bland to me.. not enough spices for my own liking.
