This Fried Carrot Cake stall in Clementi Hawker Centre always had a super long queue in the morning. Today the queue looked was shorter and I joined in the queue. The wait in the queue to order was about 20 minutes. I ordered the Black Carrot Cake at $3. The serving was big at this pricing. The Fried Black Carrot Cake had a very heavy aroma of "Wok Hei". The Fried Black Carrot Cake had a very heavy aroma of "Wok Hei". However, the taste was otherwise. The carrot cake tasted average, it seem to taste drier than others, maybe there was too much egg. I also felt that there was not enough black sweet soya sauce.
Overall, I still prefer the moist Black Carrot Cake from the Clementi Mall's foodcourt which was in the vicinity.
