The Tastings Room serves good food and good drinks, making it a good place to hangout either after work during weekdays, or on a lazy weekend! I love the Pan Seared Scallop with Salmon Roe. The scallops are so fresh and big! With the sauce and rockets, this dish is simply gorgeous!
We had two different types of soups. The Seafood Smoked Vine Tomato Soup is a bit sour, and nothing too surprise about it.
However, the Truffle Mushroom Puree Soup is a star. The croutons are crunchy, together with the soup with mushroom chunks, both the texture and flavour are beautifully balanced.
For mains, we had the squid ink pasta as well as the pesto cream pasta. The Squid Ink Linguine with Fresh Calamari is tasty, with good salty flavour from the squid ink. It's indeed their signature dish, but I was hoping for more seafood though
On the other hand, the Pesto Cream Fettuccine with ‘Sous Vide’ Chicken Breast has too much chicken in it. The pasta is delicious, well-flavoured with pesto cream sauce! It's very filling too!
To end the beautiful meal, we had Earl Grey Crème Brulee as well as the Warm Banana Cake with Ice Cream. The Earl Grey Crème Brulee is a star! The smooth texture custard pudding infused with earl grey tea flavour, is such a pleasant combination! With the caramelized topping, you could hardly stop at one!
