The big hearted owner of this food stall believes in a second chance. The owner is willingly giving this chance to the ex-offenders by employing them as his full-salaried workers here thus supported the yellow ribbon project. When eating here, you might get to meet the friendly owner and his beautiful daughter too. Then he might shared with you the story about his once rebellious daughter that indirectly lead him to the path of connecting with the ex-offenders and giving them a new life by offering them a job.
I ordered a set of fried chicken cutlet for $6.00. The first impression was the extremely generous amount of food given for such an economical price. The piece of chicken cutlet was simply huge. It was such a big piece in size and rather thick as well. The chicken was nicely seasoned with western herbs and coated with a layer of bread crumbs and fried it to perfection and not oily. The nice crispiness of that layer of bread crumbs can be distinctly tasted. The homemade coleslaw was quite a huge pile too. You can clearly taste the freshness of the cabbage, it was nicely mixed with the dressings and served cold. It tasted good and definitely of a much better quality as compared to those served in some of the other western food stalls and fast food outlets out there. Apparently, the fries were pretty average.
Every single dish is handmade at the stall with love. The owner does not believe in ordering ready-made foods from the factories. You should have no fear of MSG or preservative added to the foods served at this stall.
If you have a big appetite but with little cash and looking for tasty and reasonably priced foods then this is the right place for you. Strongly recommended.
