Freezing! That would be the word i would use to describe how i felt after eating the mango shaven ice from Mei Heong Yuen at ION orchard. They also have an outlet over at chinatown! I was kinda excited that it opened up in ION as i do enjoy their deserts. My bf and I ordered the Mango Shaven Ice.
To start off, the appearance of the dessert was really nice and appealing, with the mango sauce oozing down the sides.
The shaven ice was superbly shaven! It was so fine and smooth, it melts in your mouth, unlike those less fantastic dessert places where the ice was coarse.
The ice and mango itself wasn't very sweet, and i think this desert really counts on the mango sauce to bring out the sweetness.
Overall, it was pretty good. Would definitely drop by here again!
