Bustling crowds and the humid environment will never deter from having a bowl of Da Lian noodles whenever I feel like having one.During peak hours, the waiting time can be a little horrendous, even though there maybe up to 4 staffs in operation, including the owner himself. Nothing to shout about the soup. Seaweed, preserved vegetable, and minced meat bits, though they are rather generous with the seaweed, it usually comes covering the entire soup bowl. Taste is rather bland if not for the preserved vegetable.
The plus point to this stall would be their dry chili, containing dried shrimps. Fantastic! It's not too dry,salty and oily, it's rather spicy too! Though their noodles may not be as springy as Ah Guan's down the road, their chili and portion makes up for it. Their mushrooms are well marinated and are rather generous with their meat too.
Service staff are well mannered and will cater to your specifications on how you want your noodles to be.
