Tip Top curry puffs have been around since 1979, and I remember I looked forward to sinking my teeth into the yummy curry puff whenever my parents bought some back home when we visited AMK Central during my growing up days. To date, its fragrant chicken curry is still what entices me to buy some home if I happen to be at AMK Central. To date, its fragrant chicken curry is still what entices me to buy some home if I happen to be at AMK Central. I also like that there is a slice of hard-boiled egg in the puff, & I don't remember other curry puff chains doing that. When I bite into the crust, I find that it also does not give me a too-greasy feel like some other curry puffs in the market.
I had to queue for about 20 minutes on National Day at the stall as it was lined with fans of the famous puff & many were ordering at least 5 (like myself). Nonetheless I feel it's worth the wait when I sunk my teeth into the freshly made curry puff that was piping hot!
