Went to AMK last night to do the grocery. But before that, I had dinner with my friend first and so we headed to NY NY. Surprisingly, there was no long queue at the restaurant so we easily got a table for 2.Since both of us were quite hungry for not having a decent lunch, we decided to order one pasta each and one pizza for sharing. Service was quite fast and I didn't have to wait long for my pasta. My penne dish was wrapped in paper, and the waiter was kind enough to ask if I wanted him to open
Since both of us were quite hungry for not having a decent lunch, we decided to order one pasta each and one pizza for sharing. Service was quite fast and I didn't have to wait long for my pasta. My penne dish was wrapped in paper, and the waiter was kind enough to ask if I wanted him to open it. It was hot, so yes, I requested him to do so.
It was a generous serving with lots of shrimps, squids, and clams. There also was one big piece of mussel which was meaty and tasty! To cut through the heavy tomato base, there was also a slight spicy taste from the chopped chili. I was happy with this dish.
Then the pizza came. It stated on the menu that it was DA BOMB, so I chose that dish. It wasn't even close to being DA BOMB. It was just average. As my friend described it, it was comparable to the frozen pizza which you just buy in groceries and heat.
It was a mixed dining experience as I enjoyed my pasta but didn't like the pizza.
