Many friends rave about how good the food is, despite the long queue during dinner. Had the famous duck confit. It was not good, or rather inconsistent? It was quite hard, did they re-cook it? But i love the mash potato - smooth texture.Saute potato was good - can eat a dozen bowls of that!Saveur pasta was okay, it was served warm. Saveur pasta was okay, it was served warm. Would prefer to be cold actually (i have very different takes on food) Though i have friends who prefer it to be served piping hot.
Lastly, the dessert - cookies & milk - not at all impressed though many are hyped about this interesting dessert with the foam / air on top. Plus its similar to cookies and cream at Esquina. It seems like a half-done attempt on molecular gastronomy, thought they can do better with the ice cream beneath with the nuts and the popping candy.
Affordable food but with the queue and the inconsistency, i cant expect much, can i? Post
