For my third cafe hopping stop, the guys decide on here as they want to have something filling for lunch. The place is located in the middle of a row of shophouses, and one has to make own way to the second floor through a rather dark staircase. I have quite a spin in the head, coming in from the bright and sunny outside to the dark staircase (I kind of blank out for a moment) to the bright and noisy cafe. We are placed on the waiting list, and 9 of us squeeze into a table for 5 by window. Very packed but we are happy that we do not have to split to different tables.
After deciding on what to order, one just pays at the cashier. GST is charged here.
Remember to help yourself to the iced water at the counter and collect the cutlery.

Since I am not very hungry (hi its my third within a short time), I decide on a which turns out to be a bad choice. Firstly the waffle is soft but not fluffy. Secondly it is not crispy on the outside too. Feel more like a stale wafffle, not a freshly made one. Maybe mass production on a busy day. Also topped up another $3+ to upgrade the ice cream to avocado gula melaka ice cream. It turns out to be a waste of money as there is barely any avocado or gula melaka taste in the ice cream. It just tastes creamy that all.
Overall it has been a disappointing meal for me. Should have stick to what the guys have ordered as they seems happy with the beef stew and chicken salad.
