For my third cafe hopping stop, the guys decide on here as they want to have something filling for lunch. The place is located in the middle of a row of shophouses, and one has to make own way to the second floor through a rather dark staircase. I have quite a spin in the head, coming in from the bright and sunny outside to the dark staircase (I kind of blank out for a moment) to the bright and noisy cafe. We are placed on the waiting list, and 9 of us squeeze into a table for 5 by window. Very
served with Vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce, almonds & fruits
Since I am not very hungry (hi its my third within a short time), I decide on a which turns out to be a bad choice. Firstly the waffle is soft but not fluffy. Secondly it is not crispy on the outside too. Feel more like a stale wafffle, not a freshly made one. Maybe mass production on a busy day. Also topped up another $3+ to upgrade the ice cream to avocado gula melaka ice cream. It turns out to be a waste of money as there is barely any avocado or gula melaka taste in the ice cream. It just tastes creamy that all. Overall it has been a disappointing meal for me. Should have stick to what the guys have ordered as they seems happy with the beef stew and chicken salad.
