It is located at the ground floor of the community centre. The cafe is called NOM which stands for No Other Meaning. It is a social enterprise project by Yesterdae Cafe. It has both indoor and outdoor dine in area. There is also a small playground area indoor. The cafe is decorated in a way which reminds one of HDB blocks, with the walls looking like old HDB block void decks and the playground is a smaller version of old HDB playground. The menu here is a simple 2-sided piece.Salted caramel rainb
A colourful rainbow cake with salted caramel buttercream. The cake is moist and soft. Sweet Potato Fries ($5.90)
It is served topped with icing sugar. It is light and tasty. Chilli Chocolate ($4.50)
I have ordered a iced version. It has a spicy taste, but a tab too watery for me. Can barely taste any chocolate in it. Yuzu Pear Blossom ($6.90/ pot)
It is from Gryphon Tea and served in a teabag form. Tastes light and refreshing.
Overall the food is not bad. But the place is quite noisy. I have to shout to talk to my partner. Nice place too.
