We were running job errands in the area, so decided to “go back to school” to check out what’s there. At Pines Café, I ordered Tempura Ramen and felt it was pretty costly for $6.50 in a tertiary school. The bland and dull looking ramen tastes like something out of an instant packet. The batter of the shrimp is crispy but too thick and almost tasteless. In my opinion they should isolate it away from the soup because it causes the tempura to turn soggy. Crabsticks are the usual off from the freeze
