Sashimi House offers daily set lunch and monthly ala-carte dishes. Ala-carte available as well but some dishes are not found in the menu. Kindly enquire with the staff what is the fresh catch of the day. If you still undecided, just order the bento set.

Wafu salad ($6++)

A bowl of finely shredded white cabbage with tomatoes and cucumber serve in a Japanese Plum sauce.

Nasu Dengaku ($8++)

This was grilled eggplants with 2 types of miso paste (white and dark miso). The eggplants were cut into halves , topped with miso and grilled. The outer layer is very crispy while the interior is so soft and goes very well with the miso paste. I have requested for less miso to reduce the saltiness. I loveee this nasu dengaku!

Buri Teriyaki ($ 9++)

It was a thick slab of Buri fillet, grilled with Teriyaki sauce. Buri is a rather firm and fatty fish and the meat was a little rough after grilling. Other than that, the skin was very crispy.

Gindara Teriyaki ($14++)

The all-time favourites and it is commonly served in Japanese restaurant. The cod is very soft and tender and melts in my mouth. Frankly speaking, Cod taste great when it is grilled with Teriyaki sauce.

Overall, I felt that the ala-carte dishes are much pricey than the set. There are quite a number of bento sets to choose from and they comes with decent sashimi, why not give it a try? Get a stamp of every spending of $20, accumulate 25 stamps to redeem a $50 voucher!
