It was a fine Saturday late morning. We decided to go to Tiong Bahru area to look for our lunch. It is a common sight for long queue at the popular cafes or eating places or stalls. At first we wanted to try another famous Hongkong roasted meat shop but the queue was perpetually long and it seemed their food was selling out soon. We ordered roasted pork, char siew and duck for 2 persons to share. The roasted pork skin was really tempting, it was so crispy and addictive, couldn’t stop eating it! Roasted duck was so so. I don’t like they cut the char siew into too thin slices, it lost the texture, taste wise was OK.
Portion wise was good enough for 2 persons. We didn’t dip the sauce. Overall, it was fine.
