If you are an abalone lover, now is the time you head off to Ah Yatt Abalone restaurant, as they are currently doing the 1-for-1 set meal promotion for DBS card holders! Bargain price!The set meal kicked off with a cold dish - Chilled marinated duck meat with salted water. The duck meat itself tastes really good, and it's even better if eating with the sauce! Then, here comes the star - Stewed whole fresh abalone with mushroom and kale. The abalone is so well-cooked, not rubbery but just nice in terms of the texture!
.The following dish is Pan-fried king prawn. The prawn is very fresh, and the sauce is so yummy that I was tempted to ask for a bowl of rice!
The Baked fish fillet with cheese was a tiny disappointment though. Deep-fry + cheese, it's just too much for me to handle. After all, this is the 5th course.
Noodle with shredded abalone, ginger and spring onion is nothing too special though.
Very well done to end the course with this star dessert - Baked puff with red bean paste! The puff is a must try for sure!
