Visited Sauce Bar in the early evening. In fact, we were one of the first customers who ordered food. Guess for a bar kind of establishment, they don't really expect many customers that early.We ordered an appetiser, the Ebi Panko (Prawn with Special Mustard Sauce) $12.00, two mains, the Fish and Chips $18.00 and the Fresh River Catch $20.00, which is actually pan-fried salmon. We ordered an appetiser, the Ebi Panko (Prawn with Special Mustard Sauce) $12.00, two mains, the Fish and Chips $18.00 and the Fresh River Catch $20.00, which is actually pan-fried salmon.

I liked the sauce that came with the Ebi, it went very nicely with the prawns.

The salmon was OK, slightly underdone, but I really like the Fish and Chips. The Fish came in squares (!), totally not what we were expecting and the fish flakes were a nice touch.

By the way, don't expect air-con here. Like most of the other establishments at the Esplanade area, a lot of them have al-fresco dining concepts and it is the same here. They do have those industrial-type fan mists though.
