First time dining at this Japanese restaurant and the items on the menu looks really nice and delicious ;DThe price is expensive though, so I decided to have their signature shokudo carbonara pasta which costs $12.80++.It looks really appetizing in the picture with a half raw sunny side up topped on the spaghetti.Placed our orders and also requested for 3 cups of plain water but we were told that a cup of warm water costs $0.50. Was quite surprised with this as it normally costs $0.30 but this i

Was quite surprised with this as it normally costs $0.30 but this is almost double the price. We decided not to order the 3 cups of water.
The food took quite some time to arrive and when it arrived, my carbonara pasta is warm. The sauce is really generous and it tastes milky and creamy. The egg on it is similar to as shown on the picture, half raw. And I mixed it with the spaghetti ;D
It is miso cream sauce and it does have quite a strong taste of miso. Personally I really liked it since I’m a miso lover ^^
However the dish turns cold shortly after.
The amount of bacon is not a lot though, and it is not very worth the price afterall.
I would probably try out other dishes the next time. After GST and service charges, it is about $15.
