My hubby prefers eating chinese food , so we went to Paradise Inn at Suntec City today to have our lunch there. We ordered four dishes: toufu, spicy beef slices, spicy beef stomach and spinach cook in three types of eggs.
The toufu was very soft, the sauce had some vegetables in it which added some crunch to this dish.
The spicy beef slices were topped with fried chopped garlic which gave this dish a special aroma .
We felt that the beef stomach was too spicy and salty.
The spinach was cooked in very thick stock with three types of eggs, tasted good but still cannot surpass the one that I had tasted at another restaurant.
This restaurant charges $0.30 for a cup of plain water. As both of us were very thirsty, we ordered a glass of mint lychee , a pot of mixed tea and two glasses of ice water.
This meal totalled up to $61. We were given a voucher to be used for the next visit to have their double boiled soup at $8.80 instead of the usual price of $14 ( with minimum spending of $45), well, don't feel like a good deal to me.
I have given this restaurant two stars for their cleanliness because I found my chair and the menu had small pieces of food when we were seated.
