Nanxiang Steamed Bun Restaurant offers a variety of delicious xiao long bao. But I reckon they have also done a good job on other dishes. My favourite dish has to be the crab roe, green bean noodle ($13.30). When served hot, the starchy gravy fulled of generous amount of crab roe/crab meat is simply comforting. Spring onion noodle with lion head ($8.30) on the other hand, is strong in flavour. The lion head (minced meat ball) is nicely done, well, perhaps it contained enough fats that it just sort of melted in your mouth. Sinful yet tastes good.

I always like to order durian ball ($3.60) when dine in here. However, it always makes me feeling guilty for it, as the aroma of the durian is so strong (tables in the restaurant are set very close to each other too)! One bite into it, I can always hear people surrounding whispering:"durian? did you smell durian? where's that smell came from?" The durian pulp is filled in the glutinous rice ball and served cold, yummy!
