Salted egg chicken rice set - $6.80There was a recommended new dish for today - the salted egg chicken rice set. The picture shown at the counter looked good, so I decided to try it. I was really disappointed when I saw my dish. There were only pathetically thin strips of chicken (as opposed to what I saw as bigger chicken chunks in their promo photo) which had more batter than meat. There was also not enough salted egg sauce to coat the chicken pieces. The amount of chicken given was so little,

I was really disappointed when I saw my dish. There were only pathetically thin strips of chicken (as opposed to what I saw as bigger chicken chunks in their promo photo) which had more batter than meat. There was also not enough salted egg sauce to coat the chicken pieces. The amount of chicken given was so little, my dining companions actually pitied me and wanted to offer me some of their food... The accompanying Japanese side salad and achar thankfully provided some solace. Otherwise, I would have been utterly devastated.
