It was a rainy day and I felt like something soupy, hot and spicy so I settled for the famous spoon laksa. What impresses me that a $4.50 bowl of laksa offers ipad for a self service ordering system. Pretty high tech for a coffee shop. Service was quick and friendy despite the busy dinner hours. I ordered a bowl which came with cockles, fish cakes and prawns. Service was quick and friendy despite the busy dinner hours.
I ordered a bowl which came with cockles, fish cakes and prawns. The silky rice noodle can be easily scoop up with the spoon because it's been pre cut. The gravy was not as rich and coconuty but had a nice balance of spiciness and smoothness that made the bowl of laksa very enjoyable.
I finished everything in the bowl including the gravy.
